From boats and bubbly car washes to counting cubes and parking cars on letters, P1 took a fun-filled, hands-on road trip through the world of transport this week in play!
This week, Primary 1 were introduced to their transport topic through practical, hands-on play. Activities included investigating boats in water, washing cars outdoors and making bridges, exploring the garage role-play, and making tyre markings in dough. They developed and explored Maths and Literacy skills by measuring vehicles using cubes and practicing sound and letter recognition while parking cars. A busy, fun, and exciting introduction to their topic!
